Kitchen and Bath Excellence Through the Times

Kitchen and Bath Excellence Through the Times
When Coordinated Kitchen and Bath was founded in 1974, Vancouver was a very different place. The city was barely known outside of Canada, the metro region had just topped one million inhabitants. In 1974, the PNE was the big event, and the Vancouver Canucks were barely 4 seasons old. The downtown skyline was non-existent, other than the new West End towers and a few buildings around the Vancouver Sun tower.

How Times Have Changed
How times have changed in Vancouver. Today the metro region is a well-known city, synonymous with openness, diversity, and multiculturalism. Vancouver is a welcome home for a plethora of cultures and communities from around the world. Each of these communities has left its mark on the city, from Greek cuisine in Kitsilano, to Indian dishes on Main, to Ethiopian offerings on Commercial Drive. The choices are truly endless. Because of this, Vancouver has built a name for itself as a design and food hotspot. Vancouver now rivals similar multicultural centres such as Toronto, Montreal, Barcelona, Melbourne, and Hong Kong.
Changing with the Times
Coordinated Kitchen and Bath is proud to have been part of the changing Vancouver landscape. In the early days our renovations were simpler low tech projects. Today they employ a skilled group of designers, trades, and project managers to make sure the kitchens and bathrooms they build match the needs and demands of our times. Their staff members are highly trained, with years of experience, backed with college and university certifications. They also continue to invest in their team, ensuring they have the latest in training, technology, and access to information available. Their close team of kitchen and bathroom cabinets, countertops, and fixtures partners are also part of this process. Their partners provide additional training for their staff, education for their customers, and products that are always at the best that technology has to offer. Together this ensures Coordinated Kitchen and Bath can continue to live up to its mantra: to design and manage custom renovations from start to finish, to create the perfect kitchen, bathroom, and home renovation every time.

A Coordinated Story

A Coordinated Story
In 1974 Coordinated Kitchen and Bath was founded with a mission to renovate kitchens and bathrooms on Vancouver’s NorthShore. Coordinated Kitchen and Bath’s first showroom was originally located on East 1st Street, to the east of St. Georges.
In the late 1980’s the company relocated to 123 East 1st Street (just east of the corner of Lonsdale and 1st Avenue). In the ensuing years, the team at Coordinated Kitchen and Bath have built on the company’s tradition of renovating kitchens and bathrooms for homeowners on the North Shore. Over the years the quality and style of the products have changed significantly, without sacrificing durability – in-floor-heating, low- flush toilets, solid surface countertops and tiles, energy efficient LED lighting, stainless and built-in appliances, solid wood soft close cabinets, and more.
What has not changed is Coordinated Kitchen and Bath’s long term commitment to quality. A local family company with an experienced design and project management team, as well as established suppliers of cabinetry, countertops, and fixtures, means their customers know they are working with an organization committed to building a quality durable product. And the results speak for themselves – Coordinated gets most of its business from satisfied return customers and referrals, some of whom are back to do their 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th kitchen or bathroom with the company.

To learn more about Coordinated Kitchen and Bath, as well as the bathroom and kitchen renovation process, visit their showroom at 123 East 1st Street, or check out their website at www.coordinatedkitchens.com. You can also call them at 604.985.9128, Dylan, Mike, Allan, and Nicole will be happy to talk about your project.

Bathroom renovations - Caulfeild

A substantial 2014/2015 bathroom renovation by designer and project manager Allan Wray of Coordinated Kitchen and Bath. This large home features a large master bedroom with two en-suite bathrooms, one of which was refaced, the other was a complete bathroom renovation.

The en-suite bathroom renovation features a stunning custom designed floating vanity manufactured by Hertco Cabinets. The cabinet doors are a square line wrap laminate with PVC taped edges with a white melamine box construction. Hardware is Richelieu, with discreet Blum motion on doors.

Inside the shower there is a floating Corian shower seat as well as a 55" Aco channel drain, permitting a seamless interface between the wet and dry areas of the bathroom. The fixtures throughout the bathroom are from the Rubinet Faucet Company, while the toilet is a Toto Carolina II one piece, and the basin a Toto undermount.

A significant amount of the tile in the en-suite renovation is Eiger 11.75 x 23.75 Grigio, which acts to soften natural lighting entering from the wide south facing bathroom window.

Bathroom floors are heated by Nuheat pads.

Thank you to the homeowners for allowing us to give their bathrooms a new look.
