your kitchen renovation
The kitchen, the place where family members gather
It is well known the kitchen is the heart and soul of a home. After all, where the food is, the feet will follow!  Kitchens are high traffic areas, so it is important they be efficient and inviting. In the kitchen it is where countless hours of cooking and baking happens. This means kitchens should be well designed with the right materials. By implementing smart storage solutions and updating appliance technology, one can save money on energy bills and get family and friends to hang out and use the kitchen more often. Things like a double wall oven, a more efficient fridge, an induction range, and silent stacked dishwashers (perfect for those who hate unpacking the dishwasher). Building insulating walls and adding new flooring materials will also keep you and your feet warm in the winter, and cool in the summer.
Things to consider when renovating your kitchen
Using a reputable certified kitchen renovation company like Coordinated Kitchens to manage your project will relieve the stress of undertaking a kitchen renovation. Coordinated Kitchens will direct you how to efficiently use you budget to get what you are looking for.
Almost always deciding where to spend money on is the hardest part of a renovation. This is why working with a professional firm like Coordinated Kitchens is key. Options such as:
  • investing in new counters with a new surface.
  • replacing old floors with tile or hardwood
  • installing a new backsplash
  • replacing the cabinet doors
  • updating appliances
  • or going big and reconfiguring the layout
These options are some of the different ways to upgrade your kitchen and give it a new look and colour. These can also be ways to make the kitchen easy to clean and maintain. Each of these options have varying costs and levels of complexity, which an experienced professional can guide you through.

Conclusion
Renovating your kitchen and surrounding spaces is the ideal way to integrate the common areas of your home and make them more inviting. When a renovation is done right, the kitchen will become an inviting space for the entire family and visitors. Lower Lonsdale

Coordinated Kitchen and Bath is North and West Vancouver’s most established kitchen and bath renovation business. We have been located on 1st Avenue in the Lower Lonsdale area since 1974, operating under three different generations of ownership.

Today, Lower Lonsdale has changed a lot, filled with restaurants, apartment buildings, cafés, and other local businesses like ourselves. We share the block with North Vancouver’s most well-known martial arts boot camp school, as well as a gluten free cookie company, a soon to open brewery and tasting room, a bike shop, and couple of other local icons. Our business is referral driven – this means our customers, our trades, and our suppliers are people who trust us, and who are committed to creating the best in the kitchen and bathroom renovation business.

Our team is what makes our success. Mike Williams, Allan Wray, Nicole Phillips, and Dylan Brommeland know how to design, manage, and put together kitchen and bathrooms from start to finish. They are complimented by an amazing team of carpenters, dry-wallers, cabinet installers, plumbers, and electricians. Mike Williams has nearly 20 years’ experience in the kitchen and bath renovation business, and Allan Wray has been with us for over 5 years, in addition to years of professional training and certification with the NKBA – National Kitchen and Bath Association, the industry’s North American professional body. Dylan and Nicole are our newest additions – Dylan, in addition to running our showroom and doing smaller design projects, is also studying design and project management at BCIT under the direction of Coordinated. Nicole has certifications in design and colour, and has been working in the design industry for over 15 years.

Support for our design and project management team is critical, this is where excellent accounts management and IT solutions come into play. Amanda and Patrick have this covered, making sure our projects are on time, on budget, and run as efficiently as possible.

Our website, www.coordinatedkitchens.com is our online hub - starting later this spring we will begin rolling out fresh pictures and stories of the projects we have been working over the past year. Visit our website to see what we can do, or come see us in the real world, at North Vancouver and West Vancouver’s most comprehensive kitchen and bathroom showroom at 123 East 1st Street North Vancouver.

Kitchen and Bath

The last 3 months have been an exciting time at Coordinated Kitchen and Bath. Computers, kitchen and bath showroom upgrades, and ongoing renovation projects have been top of the agenda. We have completed a series of information technology and accounting upgrades to allow us to be the most productive and effective at what we do: designing and building kitchens and bathrooms. Our showroom has also had some new additions, with new kitchen and bath display faucets and fixtures, and some new kitchen cabinet displays and bathroom vanities. Our office space has also been completely renovated, and now has ergo dynamic work stations with Corian and Ceasarstone countertops. We have also refitted our design and materials selection studio. There are freshly redone staff and client bathrooms and a new work kitchen. All the flooring in the office area is brand new, featuring some pretty amazing vinyl plank flooring, which we have been installing for clients on some home renovation projects (they are great for basements, and work spaces). After the past few years of mild winters, Vancouver has once again been reminded we're in Canada and not in California. Yet despite all the snow and arctic winter conditions this winter season, this quarter has been business as usual, as we run a full slate of kitchen and bath projects in Vancouver and in North Vancouver and West Vancouver. Coordinated kitchen and bath is place to go if you are looking to do a new bathroom renovation, kitchen renovation, or just looking to freshen up your kitchen cabinets with either something new, or a cabinet reface. Come down to our showroom to speak to Dylan, Mike, Allan, or Nicole. They will be happy to answer your questions and explain our design build kitchen and bath renovation services to you in greater detail.

Kitchen and Bath Excellence Through the Times

Kitchen and Bath Excellence Through the Times
When Coordinated Kitchen and Bath was founded in 1974, Vancouver was a very different place. The city was barely known outside of Canada, the metro region had just topped one million inhabitants. In 1974, the PNE was the big event, and the Vancouver Canucks were barely 4 seasons old. The downtown skyline was non-existent, other than the new West End towers and a few buildings around the Vancouver Sun tower.

How Times Have Changed
How times have changed in Vancouver. Today the metro region is a well-known city, synonymous with openness, diversity, and multiculturalism. Vancouver is a welcome home for a plethora of cultures and communities from around the world. Each of these communities has left its mark on the city, from Greek cuisine in Kitsilano, to Indian dishes on Main, to Ethiopian offerings on Commercial Drive. The choices are truly endless. Because of this, Vancouver has built a name for itself as a design and food hotspot. Vancouver now rivals similar multicultural centres such as Toronto, Montreal, Barcelona, Melbourne, and Hong Kong.
Changing with the Times
Coordinated Kitchen and Bath is proud to have been part of the changing Vancouver landscape. In the early days our renovations were simpler low tech projects. Today they employ a skilled group of designers, trades, and project managers to make sure the kitchens and bathrooms they build match the needs and demands of our times. Their staff members are highly trained, with years of experience, backed with college and university certifications. They also continue to invest in their team, ensuring they have the latest in training, technology, and access to information available. Their close team of kitchen and bathroom cabinets, countertops, and fixtures partners are also part of this process. Their partners provide additional training for their staff, education for their customers, and products that are always at the best that technology has to offer. Together this ensures Coordinated Kitchen and Bath can continue to live up to its mantra: to design and manage custom renovations from start to finish, to create the perfect kitchen, bathroom, and home renovation every time.
